The United States was founded on principles of representative democracy, but there has been an ongoing debate about what model of representative democracy best achieves the founders' vision. Develop an argument about whether a participatory, pluralist, or elite model of democracy best reflects the founders' intent for a stable American democracy, using at least one piece of evidence from Brutus 1, Federalist 10, or the Constitution.

Use at least one additional piece of specific evidence from any other founding document or your knowledge of course concepts.
Explain how your evidence supports your claim.
Respond to a counterargument or opposing perspective using refutation or rebuttal.
