Matter is made up of molecules, which are the smallest part into which a substance can be divided without losing its properties and nature. In turn, a molecule is made up of atoms.
Mass is the amount of matter that a body has, and is measured with a balance. The most used unit of measurement is the kilogram, whose symbol is kg.
