A Day at the Pond

The sun wakes up and stretches wide, Its golden arms reach far and bright. Dragonflies dance above the reeds, Their wings like glass in morning light.

A turtle peeks above the waves, Ripples circle where it hides. Frogs sing songs from lily pads, Their music echoes far and wide.

Children laugh and skip small stones, Splashing water, cool and clear. The pond reflects a world of peace, A perfect place to linger here.
