District Assessment--Opinion

Based on the texts you read in this assessment, and using all you know about opinion writing, write an essay in the form of a letter on the paper your teacher will give you. A restaurant owner in your town is thinking about changing the children's menu to include healthy options for kids to choose. Drawing from the texts you've just read, write a letter to the restaurant owner supporting the claim that healthy choices should be included on the children's menu. Be sure to include at least two reasons to support your claim and include text evidence to support your ideas.
