Your Writing Requirements
To make this story "work," you must include the following three elements:
- The Sensory Shock: Describe the first 30 seconds of being "old." How do your knees feel? What does your "teacher coffee" taste like? (Use at least two sensory details).
- The "Close Call": Write a scene where a fellow teacher or the Principal asks you a "teacher question" you don't know the answer to (e.g., "Did you finish those budget reports?"). How do you fake it?
- The Dialogue Duel: Include a conversation between "You" (as the teacher) and your "Real Self" (who is now the teacher). Use quotation marks correctly!
