Read a government/ U.S. current events related news article and answer the questions below.

Copy over the title and full text of the article you are analyzing.

Identify at least one main point of the article. Answers should be in either complete sentences or bullet points.

Identify two key groups or individuals involved in the issue discussed in the article. Explain their involvement in the issue.

What are the potential impacts of the issue discussed in the article?

Identify any bias or potential bias in the article. Consider the following in evaluating bias: language used, the selection of facts, or the omission of certain perspectives.

Pose at least two questions that you have from the article. These questions should encourage critical thinking and analysis, not simply ask for a definition.  Then, for each question, write an explanation of why knowing the answer would be useful.
These cannot be questions that the article asks or answers.

Copy one question from your previous response and then answer it using information from the article.

Explain how your understanding of the topic has increased after reading the article. How has this article influenced or changed your opinion on any aspect the article talks about?
