In this assignment, I will analyze one of the most famous structures in human history: the Great Wall of China. The goal of this five-paragraph essay is to determine if the protection the wall provided was worth the massive "price tag" of money and human lives.

Write a five-paragraph essay on whether the benefits outweighed the costs for building "The Great Wall of China." The first paragraph must be an introduction paragraph that provides some background for the reader but also contains a thesis statement. The essay must include three more claim, evidence, connection paragraphs that also cite the resources used. The last paragraph must be a conclusion with a counterclaim in which you provide a counter argument to your own thesis but then refute that argument.
