9-Week Book Literary Analysis

After free reading, you will write an analytical paragraph to submit BEFORE THE END OF CLASS. Your task is to analyze at least one quote (with an in-text citation) to describe a significant event that occurred in the text you have read today OR analyze at least one technique the author used (word choice, figurative language, literary device, how word choice affects tone, author’s purpose and text structure, etc.) and its impact on the text. 
You will start by introducing the book, including the author of the book, the genre, and a brief summary of what happened in the section of the book that you read. Then, you will introduce the quote you are using with a rhetorical verb, including what is happening in the book at the time, and who said the quote.  Then, after you correctly cite the quote, you will analyze something important about the quote, including the above mentioned items AND why that is relevant (e.g. how it affects the text or the reader)
