Cinderella Five Sheet

Read the fairy tale “Cinderella” by the Brothers Grimm. Then, answer the questions below using your knowledge of the text and in complete sentences. Justify your answer when necessary.

Plot is the sequence of events in the story. Identify which part of the plot belongs to each category. Your Rising Action should have at least three events from the story in it. Remember the CLIMAX is the most pivotal part of the story and should be the point at which things change. It should come near the END of the story.

Characters – identify each important character in the story and write a 1-2 sentence description of each.

Conflict – What is the MAJOR problem in the story that drives all other problems the character overcomes?

Theme – the main idea of the story. Remember that theme is more than one word and it doesn’t use the characters or the events in the story.

Setting – the time and place the story occurs. You should have details to support your answer.
