Your Personal Pathway Decision

Based on your experience at all 4 stations, what is YOUR post-graduation plan, and why is this the best choice for you right now?

Your answer should include:

  • Primary pathway: Which of the 4 pathways will you pursue? (Education, Military, Employment, or Entrepreneurship)
  • Financial reasoning: What is the total cost/investment required, and how will you fund it? What is the expected return?
  • Personal fit: Why does this pathway align with your strengths, interests, and values?
  • Opportunity cost: What are you giving up by choosing this path, and why is the trade-off worth it?
  • Timeline: What are your specific next steps between now and graduation? (Be concrete: "By February I will..., By May I will...")

Question 1b

Essay

Your answer should include:

  • Plan B: What's your alternative pathway and why?
  • Adaptation example: Describe how one of the "Life Event Cards" you received might require you to change pathways. How would you handle it?
  • Transferable preparation: What are you doing now that will help you succeed in MULTIPLE pathways? (Example: Building strong grades helps with college AND military AND employment)
