Introduction Digital technology—including personal tablets, educational software, online collaboration tools, and artificial intelligence—has rapidly transformed the modern educational landscape. While many school districts are moving toward full, one-to-one digital integration, others are advocating for a "return to basics" by limiting screen time to improve focus and social interaction. As educational institutions invest heavily in new technologies, it is worth examining whether these tools are enhancing or hindering the learning process.

Read and carefully consider these perspectives:

• Perspective One Technology is essential for preparing students for the modern workforce. It provides personalized learning, allowing students to learn at their own pace, and gives immediate access to a vast world of information.
• Perspective Two Technology in the classroom causes too many distractions and erodes fundamental skills. Over-reliance on digital tools reduces attention spans, hinders critical thinking, and limits essential face-to-face social interaction.
• Perspective Three Technology should be used only as a supplementary tool, not a replacement for human instruction. The most valuable aspects of education, mentorship, character building, and critical thinking—require human guidance, not computer screen interaction.
