Blair-Broeker Excellence in Teaching award winner, American Psychological Association (APA) Teachers of Psychology in Secondary Schools (TOPSS) member-at-large, Iowa Teachers of Psychology (IToP) committee member, participant of the credentialing strand for the 2017 APA Summit on High School Psychology. Has presented multiple times at NCSS and IToP on “Teaching Stress Management without Sacrificing Rigor” and “Increasing Student Proficiency Using Cognitive Psychology” and led a 2-day workshop for HS psychology teachers through the APA focused on positive psychology, the science of learning, and the science of diversity and inclusivity.
