Joanne Hale

Joanne Brunello Hale has been a high school Social Studies teacher for nearly two decades. Mrs. Hale earned her Master’s in Arts Social Studies from the University of Northern Iowa in 2011, and earned her B.A. in History and B.S. in Secondary Education from Drake University in 2006. She currently is an A.P. U.S. History and Economics teacher at Urbandale High School. Additionally, Mrs. Hale has been an A.P. Reader for four years, and enjoys the professional development that opportunity has afforded her to help develop content and writing skills for her students.
