Humans and the Environment CBA Rough Draft

Write a comprehensive essay on a significant issue that shows the interaction between humans and the environment.  Your essay needs to explain the issue, identify and explain 2 causes of the issue and 2 stakeholders of the issue, as well as provide a possible solution.  You need to cite 4 or more sources within the text.

 Your essay should be structured as follows: 

Paragraph #1: Provide an overview of the issue (½ page). Introduce the topic, provide background information about the topic, and present your thesis statement. (10 points) 

Paragraph #2: Discuss the first cause of the issue (⅔ page). You should provide at least two pieces of evidence to support your argument. (15 points) 

Paragraph #3: Discuss the second cause of the issue (⅔ page). Again, provide at least two pieces of evidence to support your argument. (15 points) 

Paragraph #4: Identify the first stakeholder of the issue (½ page). Provide two pieces of evidence related to this stakeholder's involvement or interest in the issue. (10 points) 

Paragraph #5: Identify the second stakeholder of the issue (½ page). Provide two pieces of evidence related to this stakeholder's involvement or interest in the issue. (10 points) 

Paragraph #6: Propose a possible solution to the issue (⅔ page). Provide two reasons why this solution will work, supported by evidence. (20 points) 

Paragraph #7: Conclude your essay (⅓ page). Restate your thesis and summarize your overall argument or issue.

In addition to the main body of your essay, you must also cite at least four different sources within your essay. Each citation is worth 5 points, for a total of 20 points. Your essay will be evaluated based on the clarity of your arguments, the quality of your evidence, and the appropriateness of your sources. Remember, geography is not just about locations, but also about the relationships between people and their environments. Consider this as you explore your chosen issue.
