This assignment will evaluate your essay based on the following criteria: Introduction, Arguments, Persuasive Devices, Conclusion, Spelling and Grammar/Punctuation, and Plagiarism Check (Originality %). Each category has a weight of 16.66% and is graded on a scale from A to D.
The introduction is engaging, provides a clear preview of what is to come, and presents a strong position on the topic.
Introduction - A (4 points)
Presents 3 or more strong arguments supported with detailed examples and evidence. Arguments are logically organized.
Arguments - A (4 points)
Uses a variety of persuasive devices effectively (e.g., rhetorical questions, repetition, emotional appeal) to strengthen the argument.
Persuasive Devices - A (4 points)
The conclusion effectively reinforces the position with a strong summary of arguments and leaves a lasting impression.
Conclusion - A (4 points)
0-2 errors: Demonstrates mastery of spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Spelling and Grammar/Punctuation - A (4 points)
100% - 90% Original: Essay is original or with minimal unoriginal content, properly cited.
Plagiarism Check (Originality %) - A (4 points)
